Austrian video artist
Michaela Grill (laptop), together with Canadian filmmaker Karl Lemieux
(16mm projectors) and British turntablist Philip Jeck (turntables),
will present a unique and improvised audio-visual performance in which
image and sound, analog and digital elements are synergistically interwoven.
Steve Bates (guitar/electronics) will perform his ongoing wrestling
match with the electric guitar, exploring minimal harmonic elements and
noise.

MICHAELA GRILL (Austria) studied in Vienna, Glasgow and London and has
made various film/video works, installations and live visuals,
performances in Austria and abroad. She lives and works in Vienna.

PHILIP JECK (UK) works with old records and record players salvaged
from junk shops creating an intensely personal language that evolves
with each added part of a record.

KARL LEMIEUX (Canada) is a co-founder of Double Negative, a film
collective based in Montréal focused on the production and screening of
experimental film and has worked on several music and performance-
based live projections.
